The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
